I love to embroider on iron-on cotton tearaway, to have a pucker-free embroidery. On very thin fabric I'm using 2 layers. Also, after ironing I'm not taking embroidery right away, but leaving it on the iron board to cool off. This way embroidered item stays the way I ironed it.
